My friend Veena Vattekkat send this link where you can see several top actresses with and without make-up. It really goes to prove that a little make-up can go a long way. Take a look here.
Well Shilpa and Raj have finally become official. Yes they tied the knot in an extravagant wedding. The guest list had more than a liberal sprinkling of glamour. The Bollywood Brigade was there to show full support. Pink seems to be an in colour and so does gold. Gauri Khan was wearing a grey saree with dark pink flowers and Ash donned a fuschia pink salwaar with silver work. Shilpa was in gold and Raj in black. Click here for the pictures.
This is a perfect evening bag. It can be carried to many places which require you to remian poised and elegant and just look good. I have no idea what it will carry but I'm guessing a lipstick, a small mobile and some change and maybe a card or 2. The satin roses are simply divine and the gold handles and small knobs add just the right amount of glamour, sophisticated and classy.
This is the valentino blossom rose bag. It's a fairly large bag as you can see from the ad above. It's one of those elegant bags which would make anyone look classy. The handles are gold. This bag is also available in black but I think the pink looks dainty. It would add a feminine touch to anything. In my minds eye, I see it worn with black, maroon, sky blue...etc
India has a rich culture blessed with myriad artforms and crafts. If you go along the length and breadth of the land, you can see the exquisite creations in gold, silver, brass and everything else. I just came across these beautiful pieces of jewellery called " Kundan". Kundan jewellery is made of refined gold and precious stones. Kundan work was favoured by Rajasthani royalty. But today it is available all over India. They look great with ethnic party wear and will definitely dress you up. Hope you enjoy looking at these pieces as much as I do.
There is something very stylish about this LV bag. Those square shaped pieces of leather with the gold studs, the gold buckles contrasted with the white bag and of course the subtle print...all make this bag so very alluring.
I found this picture of Hillary Duff carrying one of the Valentino bags which was featured on this blog. Its' good to see someone carrying it, so u get an idea of how big it will look, the proportion etc. Hillary is carrying a purple one whereas the one shown was a nice reddish hue. I think Duffs' may go with more clothes since its' such a dark hue. But I love the pinkish red one too. It's not a small dainty bag but a large one which can carry alot of stuff.
